After having the flu for almost a week i really needed to get outside. The "Syberian Bear" left our country and it almost feels like spring. With a foggy mornin and not much later almost no wind at all it sure did felt like it was somewhere in May with the sun shinning. We decided to talk a walk in one of our favorite places in nature called Appélbergen. It's really nice to have such a pretty place only a couple of streets away from our house.
At the little swamp/lake below you can still the remains of the Syberian Bear. I'm not really sure but i think it's the first time ever i have seen this one frozen. If i went earlier, i could have even walked on it. That would have been pretty cool! But that damn flu..
On the left rock you can see a list of names from people who were killed in WW2 and never been found. On the right there is a list of people they did find back and burried them somewhere else.
